The result sheet is printing an error message about corrupted data

This issue is due to the printer setting and not the InBody.  If you are using a Samsung printer, please go to SETUP, then printer type, and change the setting from SPL-2009 to SPL2009-600.  If the setting is already set to SPL 2009-600, please change it to SPL-2009.

How do I enable my Thermal Printer with the 230?

  1. Press SETUP on the InBody Keypad
  2. Go to Option (5) Interface
  3. Change COM1 to THERMAL
  4. Go to Option(2) to verify that the thermal printer has been enabled
  5. If the paper is feeding but nothing is printing, that indicates that the paper has been input incorrectly.

Can I connect my printer through WiFi or Bluetooth?

Unfortunatly, the InBody cannot connect to the printer through WiFi or Bluetooth.  WiFi and Bluetooth is only available for the Lookin’body system connection.

 

Can I print more than one result sheet at a time?

230:

Press SETUP on the Keypad

Go to option 3. RESULT SHEET

Use the keypad to choose the # of printouts desired

 

520 and 720:

Press SETUP on the Keypad

Go to option 4. RESULT SHEET

Scroll down and use the keypad to choose the # of printouts desired

 

370:

Press SETUP on the top left corner

Go to RESULT SHEET OPTIONS

Go to NUMBER OF COPIES

Use the keypad to choose the # of printouts desired

 

570/770:

Press the ADMINISTRATOR MENU button on the bottom left corner

Go to option (11) AUTOMATIC PRINTING OPTIONS

You may choose to print up to 2 copies at a time.

The test results on the result sheets are not aligned correctly.

230:

Press SETUP on your Keypad

Choose option (2) PRINTER

Press the arrow pad to adjust the alignment with the X and Y axis on the menu below.

X = Left (-) and Right (+) and Y = Up (+) and Down (-)

 

520/ 720:

Press SETUP on your Keypad

Choose option (3) PRINTER

Press the arrow pad to adjust the alignment with the X and Y axis on the menu below.

X = Left (-) and Right (+) and Y = Up (+) and Down (-)

 

370:

Press SETUP on the top left corner

Press PRINTER on the setup screen

Go to Result Sheet Alignment

X = Left (-) and Right (+) and Y = Up (+) and Down (-)

 

570/770:  

 

Press the ADMINISTRATOR MENU button on the bottom left corner

Choose option (15) PRINTER ALIGNMENT

X = Left (-) and Right (+) and Y = Up (+) and Down (-)

I am unable to print because the lights on my printer are red and/or orange.

This indicates that the issue is most likely a printer issue.  Click here  for a guide on how to troubleshoot the printer.

Check your printer settings

If you have a HP or Brother Printer, the setting should be PCL compatible

If you have a Samsung Printer, the setting should be SPL2009 or SPL2009-600

To change your Printer Settings:

 

230:

Press SETUP on your keypad

Go to option (2) PRINTER

Use the arrow keys to highlight the setting and change the settings accordingly.

 

520/720:

Press SETUP on your InBody Keypad

Go to the PRINTER section and go to printer setup

Highlight the current setting and scroll up and down with the keypad to change it.

Press EXIT a few times on your keypad and press ENTER to save when the prompt appears.

 

370:

Press SETUP on the top left hand corner

Press the PRINTER option on the menu

Go to Printer Type and change your settings.

 

570/770:

Press the ADMINISTRATOR MENU on the bottom left corner

Press Option 9 for PRINTER on page 2 and follow the guided instructions to set up the printer.
